Policy Briefs

The Asia Research Centre has initiated a new series entitled Asia Research Centre Policy Briefs. The purpose of these Policy Briefs is to provide information and research bearing on key issues of governance and development in the Asia-Pacific region. These Policy Briefs provide alternative policy frameworks to address key social, economic, and political developments in the region. They will also facilitate and generate public debate and engagement on issues pertaining to Australia?s relationship with the region. The Policy Briefs draw mainly on the academic research of members and associates of the Asia Research Centre, but also include invited contributions from scholars within and outside Australia.
