Dr Terence LeeBA (Murd.), MA (Griffith), PhD (Adel.) Terence Lee is a lecturer in Mass Communication with the School of Media, Communication and Culture at Murdoch University. His research centres on the politics of media and cultural policy in Singapore. His recent publications have dealt with Internet politics, the new media regulatory framework and civil society in Singapore. From 1997 to 1999, he was with the Policy and Planning Division of the Singapore Broadcasting Authority where he worked on new digital television and media policies. He previously taught at the School of Communication, Information and New Media, University of South Australia. He has also held research or visiting appointments at the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University, and the Centre for Professional and Public Communication at the University of South Australia where he remains an Associate Member.
