Dr Nathan Gilbert Quimpo
Nathan Gilbert Quimpo is an associate professor teaching Political Science
and International Relations at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
A long-time political activist in the Philippines before turning to
an academic career, Nathan took up M.A. in International Relations
at the University of Amsterdam. After teaching at the Political Science
and Sociology Departments of the University of the Philippines, Nathan
finished his Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations
at the Australian National University. Before coming to Tsukuba, Nathan
was a lecturer in international relations at the Political Science
Department of the University of Amsterdam.
